Extension Pack for MARI

Sometimes a Mari release might break certain functionality of Extension Pack. Some of those can be fixed by a new Extension Pack

release, others might be a bug in Mari itself.

The Linux Distribution of Mari 4.7v5 is missing chunks of Python API, necessary to run Extension Pack.

Foundry fixed this in a 4.7v6 release.

Unfortunately Extension Pack does not run with Mari 4.7v5 under linux.

While Extension Pack supports Mari 4.8v1 there are some  known issues with the Drag&drop System.

Foundry fixed those with Mari 4.8v2.

• In Mari 4.8v1, dragging and dropping an exr or hdri into the viewport and choosing 'Paint Through Image' does not work due to broken Mari API
  
  
• In Mari 4.8v1 dragging an image from the shelf that was imported via python (e.g. EP Shelf, or shelfs created from 'Shelf from Folder' Tool) will not launch the 'Node selection tool', when dragged into Layerstack or Nodegraph
  
  
• In Mari 4.8v1 dragging an image from image manager, that was imported from shelf that was created via python (e.g. EP Shelf, or shelfs created from 'Shelf from Folder' Tool) will not launch the 'Node selection tool', when dragged into Layerstack or Nodegraph
  
  
• In Mari 4.8 dragging an exr or hdr image from the shelf that was imported via python (e.g. EP Shelf, or shelfs created from 'Shelf from Folder' Tool) will launch the 'Use as Paint Through / use as Environment Light' Option Selection
